CAUTION ABOUT YOUTUBE-LINKS IN FACEBOOK MESSENGER!
by PaulMedia [PM] Administrator (comments: 0)
According to several sources, messages sent via Facebook and its messenger containing a link to YouTube with your personal profile data are scam!
SO DON’T CLICK ANY SUSPICIOUS MESSAGE!
In case of clicking you’re being redirected to a fake Facebook login page and if you enter your data there, your credentials will be provided to scammers who can open your account with your credentials with all possible consequences (account hijacking, spamming etc.).
In case this happened to you, try to log back onto Facebook and CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY! Secure your account by mobile phone or other security measures so that you can be verified as the real owner of the account! More to be found here.
The YouTube version is only one of a few that turned since last October.
